Lovely ambience, but the waitress has much to be desired. I was visiting your establishment with my friend the other night. We were just sitting there, minding our own business, not interfering with others or anything of that sort. We ended up being cut off. But that isn't the problem. The problem is the NASTY attitude of the server towards us. I was appauled. I don't know her name, but unless she is the owner, if it were me, I'd fire her. smccar5702@rogers.com

I've dined at the Dam Pub and have no complaints about the food or service.
However, after reading the review posted under the name "Susan Macdonald", I strongly suspect it is a bogus contribution, manufactured by or for the benefit of the establishment by a highly biased accomplice.
To me, it reads like like advertising copy, but judge for yourself. newt@null.net

Great food (try the fish & chips or the stew), and wonderful home made soups. FANTASTIC scotch and beer. Over 200 different single malt scotch brands, ranging from $5 to $450 a glass. Friendly, warm and comfortable and a great patio in the summer. Charming period home with private room for rent. Nothing else like it anywhere around. One of our favourite places. Ask for a tasting card and record your impressions of the different scotch you try. smcdonald@brykat.com
