Gios Italian Restaurant

Very nice! Food was fantastic (nice variety of food), the wine we had was perfect (the wine list is extensive), the service was just right. The small restaurant is very open, but with the new look the owners just finished, its wonderful. All around a great Italian experience. Thank you Gio's. We will be in soon.

We visited based on online reviews. Really a great experience. All the food was fresh, well prepared and nicely presented (and tasted great). The two ladies serving were excellent, efficient and friendly. The Italian red house wine was a treat.

All in all excellent; not cheap but very good value for money.

I will keep this short & sweet. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and great times. Thank you again, vote Gio's for best Italian restaurant. Not east side marios, (its a franchise, it should not be in the same category or comparable 2 Gio's!!!).

Valentines's Day we got a reservation. We were lucky, small place, but fantastic and a bottle of great wine for $27. There was a cancellation so the owner called us, we just wanted to eat some tasty food and valentine's was secondary!!! This place is our favorite. And we are looking forward to the patio opening up, can't wait.

Very nice!!! The cheese tortellini and the beef tenderloin. To start we had a goat cheese, mushroom with red pepper tian and a potato with lamb soup. Service was very well knowledged about the restaurant!! We had a great time. Everyone in BARRIE must try this quaint place! PARKING not an issue, this is a plus.

Went in for lunch for the first time. It was delicious. We always go in for dinner and the server said try us for lunch one day, so we did. It was very tasty and service is on the ball, it was busy for a small place. Overall an A plus. See you very soon. Thinking about having a party their, its a perfect spot.

I'm booking my Christmas Party at Gio's. The food and service was very nice when we were there on friday night. My wife and I had a relaxing time after a very long week. The severs said to us call ahead if you want something special the next time. And thats when i decided to book my Christmas Party with Gio's, Glen, Lourdes and Vio. Can't wait to see you guys again. I'll be calling with details. Have a joyous thanks giving.

Fantastic as always. Quail last week and veneson a few weeks back. Wow!! Quail was delicious and my friend had pasta, it was truely out of this world. Try a martini!! We had a couple. Small restaurant but you wont regret it. From entering the resraurant to leaving the establisment, what an experience. I didn't want to leave "truely". I'm looking forward to going back and trying the peanut butter terrine. Thanks Lourdes and Vio, the service was nice. See you soon.

The Gio's in Barrie is one great restaurant. can't wait to dine in Bradford. The service all the way through to the food was spectacular!! Tiny place but very personable, staff that make you feel like your at home. Wine is tasty of course and if its not on the wine list just tell the staff and the owner will find it for you. WOW!! I'll be back very soon and with a few people. I truely fell in love with this place.
